Koen Vanmechelen is honored to announce that Box - Baroque Orchestration X will come and play in his studio.
Box made their debute at TEDx Flanders in 2010, where Koen gave a lecture about his project.
On wednesday September 12 Box will play Box = White Chalk/Amnesiac. White Chalk/Amnesiac is an investigation into usability and functionality of instrumental colours from the baroque era in a setting of expressionist rock music: the baroque orchestrations of ‘White Chalk’ by PJ Harvey and ‘Amnesiac” by Radiohead. A whole lotta BOX (13 musicians), gueststarring the great voices and violins of Arne Leurentop (or Tijs Delbeke) and Liesa Van der Aa.

The Box-concert is part of the new cultural season of CC Hasselt. The cultural centre of Hasselt was inspired by Koen's artworks for the lay-out of the catalogue for their new cultural program  2012-2013.
