Laboratory, think thank and mirror of all Vanmechelen’s work. A group of
people from different sectors of society contemplate Vanmechelen’s work,
together with the artist, look for crossovers in non-artistic domains and
mould their musings in texts. The artist responds, criticizes, reacts and
discusses with work and words. One of the results is the yearly magazine
‘The Accident. Chronicles of the Cosmopolitan Chicken’.
