Since 2014, almost 570 000 sculptures have been produced in different workshops. Today, we are confident that we will reach our goal of 600.000 sculptures by Mach 2018. This fall we start to prepare the site at the provincial domain Palingbeek in Ypres for the implementation of the land art installation. Architect Mario Botta visited LABIOMISTA, the new studio of Koen Vanmechelen, designed by the Swiss architect. Since his last visit, we worked hard, installing artworks, unpacking boxes and developing the different spaces. The architect was happy to see the evolution and is curious for what is yet to come.
